About Us
Founder
Gary Payne is a Senior Defensive Tactics Instructor and has been designing and implementing training programmes for many years.
Gary's interest in developing a programme specifically for children grew several years ago, when as a father of three young children he was concerned about his children being subjected to bullying.
He decided to dedicate his time to developing a training programme which could educate his children in some simple and practical non-physical skills that would prepare them for not only their school life but would prepare them for every aspect of their future.

The Life Skills Development Team
In 2001 Gary established a Personal Safety Training Academy in Milton Keynes, to provide personal safety training to children and adults. The instructors, parents and children at the Academy have assisted in the development of the Life Skills for Children programme.
The Development Team have a wealth of experience in teaching children, and combine their personal and work experiences to provide a professional and educational service. Members of the Life Skills team work in environments that include the Police, Military, Teaching and Sports Education.
Together we have the knowledge and expertise to develop and deploy the Life Skills programme to every child in the UK and beyond.
