Whilst it is important to understand your literacy and numeracy, isn't it just as important, 
if not more so today, to understand the difference between right and wrong? To understand 
how to take care of yourself physically, and mentally, to understand the benefits of good 
health and fitness, to know how to set goals and go after them.

The Life Skills for Children programme is a simple step by step guide to educating young 
people in a series of skills that will allow them to experience scenarios and activities, 
which they will naturally call on and develop, including: vision, confidence, motivation, 
communication, passion, persistence, action, charisma, creativity, strategy, 
courage and trust. They find out the importance of setting their own goals and, perhaps 
most importantly of all, they find out WHY these skills are important.

Give a child a big enough WHY and they will walk through walls to achieve it.

The Life Skills team appreciate that the diverse curriculum provided by many 
schools positively enhances the child's learning experience, and that many 
educational establishments are doing a great job educating and inspiring young people.
