LSFC have joined forces with Reactiv8 who provide bespoke learning and mentoring programmes to re-engage young people back into learning, education or training.
Each programme is tailored to suit the needs of the individual so that they, their parents and school all benefit from this alternative education package.
Together we aim to create a better relationship between the school, parents and young people so that positive results can be achieved at an educational level.
Key Objectives
• To ensure all young people leave school with some form of recognised
National qualification
• To work with young people and their families to help breakdown any
barriers to the young person’s success
• To strengthen the relationship between young people and their families
• To provide a wide range of services / experiences for the young people
to access
• To provide an opportunity for Businesses to increase their profit margins
• To provide an opportunity for Businesses to give something back to
their community
A one day Life Skills mentoring course is provided to young people as an introduction into their alternative education package.
The benefits attached to experiencing the Life Skills course prior their placement is that every student will have the opportunity to learn some key skills to improve their behaviour whilst enoying their alternative education and at the conclusion when they return to school.
Reactiv8 works with young people and their families to ensure a “team around the family” approach to ensure every opportunity for the student to become a successful member of their community.
